Meet Your Nutritionist
A Certified Clinical Nutritionist who lived through PCOS herself. Who has eaten across six countries. And who believes that your Indian food, your hormones, and your body are never the enemy.
My Personal Journey
"I was the person telling others to eat right. And I was the one suffering in silence, not knowing why my body felt so out of control."
Before I became a nutritionist, I went through PCOS myself. For an entire year, I did not know what it was. I had irregular cycles, unexplained weight changes, fatigue that would not lift, and a body that felt like it was working against me no matter what I did.
I visited doctors. I followed generic advice. I was told to lose weight, reduce stress, and come back in three months. Nobody sat with me and explained what was actually happening inside my body. Nobody told me that the food I was eating, the way I was sleeping, the stress I was carrying, all of it was directly connected to what my hormones were doing.
It took a full year before I discovered that PCOS could be managed. Not just managed with medication. Actually managed, through nutrition and lifestyle. That discovery changed my life. And it changed the direction of my entire career.

The Pharmacy Background
My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Pharmacy. I spent years learning how the human body works at a cellular level. How medications interact with it. How hormones communicate. How deficiencies create cascading effects that no single pill can fix.
That pharmaceutical lens gave me something most nutritionists do not have. I understood exactly why certain foods help manage insulin resistance in PCOS. Why thyroid function is so sensitive to selenium and iodine. Why blood sugar spikes after certain Indian meals and how to modify them without giving up the meal entirely.
I went on to complete my Certification in Clinical Nutrition and Diploma in Food Nutrition and Dietetics. And the more I learned, the more I saw the same truth everywhere. The body is not broken. It is simply responding to what we give it. Give it the right inputs and it will do the rest.

A World of Food
"Nutrition is not one culture's answer. It is the wisdom of every culture, understood correctly."
I have lived in Mexico and Kenya. I have travelled across the USA, Dubai, Vietnam and Indonesia. In every country I visited, I sat at local tables. I ate local food. I learned how different cultures approach the relationship between food, health and healing.
In Mexico, I saw how traditional whole foods sustained families through generations before processed food arrived. In Kenya, I witnessed communities with naturally balanced diets and almost no lifestyle disease. In Vietnam and Indonesia, I experienced how herbs, fermented foods and fresh produce are woven into every meal as medicine.
And throughout all of it, I kept coming back to the same realisation. Indian food, when understood correctly, is among the most powerful healing cuisines in the world. Turmeric, fenugreek, cumin, lentils, fermented foods, seasonal vegetables. We have always had everything we need. We just stopped trusting it.
That multicultural perspective is what I bring to every client I work with. I do not look at your dal and see a problem. I see a solution. I do not see your Indian eating habits as something to overcome. I see them as the foundation of your healing.
Exploring nutrition wisdom across the globe
Why NutriEat Exists
When I was going through PCOS, I needed someone who could explain the connection between what I was eating and what my hormones were doing. Someone who would not give me a generic 1200 calorie plan and send me home. Someone who understood my food, my lifestyle, and my life.
NutriEat with Vrushali was built to be exactly that. For every woman who has been told her PCOS is just how it is. For every person with Diabetes who believes they will be on medication forever. For every parent who does not know if their child is eating enough of the right things. For every pregnant woman who is terrified of doing something wrong.
I bring my personal experience with PCOS, my pharmaceutical training, my clinical nutrition expertise, and the perspective of having lived and eaten across the world. And I build something specific for each person who walks through my door.
"Conditions can be managed. Medications can be reduced. Life can be lived fully. I know this because I lived it myself."
Every consultation at NutriEat starts with listening, not prescribing

My Philosophy
Decades of diet culture have created a generation terrified of eating. I spend a significant part of my practice undoing that fear. Once a client understands what their food actually does in their body, everything changes.
Haldi, methi, dal, sabzi, roti. These are not things to give up. They are some of the most powerfully nutritious foods in the world. Indian food, understood correctly, is medicine.
I work alongside doctors, not against them. But I also believe that many people can reduce their dependence on medication through consistent nutritional and lifestyle changes.

Weight, Body Fat Percentage, Subcutaneous Fat, Visceral Fat Level, Resting Metabolism, Body Age and BMI — all measured with clinical precision before your first nutrition plan is created.
Detailed breakdown of subcutaneous fat and skeletal muscle percentages for arms, trunk and legs. Identifies exactly where imbalances exist so your plan targets what matters most.
Repeat assessments throughout your program track real changes in body composition, not just weight. You see exactly how your body is responding to the nutrition plan.
Your nutrition program is built around your actual body composition data, blood reports, health condition and personal goals. No templates. No generic plans. Just precision.
